Roberta Reeve

Roberta trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York completing a BSc (hons) in Acupuncture. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and is fully licensed and insured.

Roberta likes to work with people from all walks of life with all types of ailments such:

• muscle strain
• arthritis
• headaches
• postural issues
• chronic disease.

She has particular enthusiasm for working with people suffering of:

• emotional problems
• anxiety.

Another field in which Roberta is very interested and involved in is the treatment of patients with chronic ailments such as MS. Her treatments aim to enable them to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Roberta’s philosophy

Roberta likes to view the therapeutic relationship as a dynamic partnership model. Her goal is to empower her patients to take ownership of their life and provide practical solutions, tailored to her patient’s needs and problems.

Roberta’s treatments are not limited to “sticking in some needles”. She will take great attention for a thorough assessment to be able to deliver the ideal treatment tailored for each person, individually.

This will entail:

• analysis of each patient’s symptoms
• detailed medical history
• in depth pulse analysis
• tongue observation
• determine the TCM pattern of disharmony

In her treatments she will use, next to acupuncture

• gua sha,
• cupping
• acupuncture points
• provide some tailored lifestyle advice
• provide some advice about nutrition
