Warm-up exercises for runners

Get your body ready for training with the correct warm up

Here are some great exercises to do before you begin your run. The best way to warm up is to incorporate balance and body-weight movements that are straightforward and easy to perform. Complete these movements until your muscles feel loose, minimally fatigued and warm. Your joints should move smoothly through their full range of motion.

Remember: the warm up needs to be dynamic to prepare muscles, tendon …and the brain. Stretching is good to relax the muscles. So stretch out after a work out or run. Here more information.
