Question 1: Which muscle is attached to the Achilles tendon?

The calf muscles stretch from above the knee and end into the Achilles tendon attaching at the heel bone. These muscles are often too tight or/and weak and can transmit too much tension on the Achilles tendon potentially causing/worsening tendinopathy. Regular stretching but also careful strengthening of the calve is important.
